"Sea monster" Polyptych, Ink on paper
The pieces are shedding light on the current environmental crisis, reflecting the ocean plastic pollution and its impact on marine ecosystems.
By 2050, scientists project that ocean plastic will out-weight all of the fish in the ocean. While this may seem surprising, it is important to know that 17.6 billion pounds of plastic is released into the ocean every single year. For perspective in ocean terms, 17.6 billion pounds is the same as 57,000 blue whales - the largest animal to have ever existed.
The artwork was created to raise awareness and imagine a more sustainable future.
The exhibition took place at Kiev National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Ukraine
